Mojave Artists of Color
MACC Mission Statement
The Mojave Artists of Color Collective is a self-governing group of BIPOC artists and creatives living and working in the Morongo Basin area. We provide peer-to-peer support, networking opportunities, studio visits, critique circles, collaboration, and collective exhibitions and events. The collective practices advocacy for BIPOC and other marginalized groups to gain greater access to arts funding, production, and exhibition.
Â
MACC is open to self-identified BIPOC artists and creatives in any medium (visual, performance, film, photography, writing, graphic design, music, etc). Artists of color living and/or working in the Morongo Basin (Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Landers, Joshua Tree, 29 Palms, and Wonder Valley) or other places in and around the Mojave desert are welcome to join. There are no membership dues or requirements.
