Kim Martin

Kim is an educator, photographer, amateur ceramicist, and sci-fi nerd extraordinaire. If she had more money and time she’d probably attend more Star Trek and Doctor Who conventions. Some of her poetry and photography has been featured in Cholla Needles Arts & Literary Magazine, Charge Magazine, and in the August 2021 "Space is the Place" exhibition in Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree. When she's not busy with her teaching day job, Kim can be found hanging out in nature, looking for spiders to photograph, hand-building with clay, making digital illustrations, writing poetry, and daydreaming about life on other planets. You can connect with Kim on Instagram:  @mskimphotos You can find her photographic art for sale in Soul Connection in Downtown Joshua Tree.
